Privacy Policy

Safari Travel Insurance is a content and comparison site — there are no customer accounts, and we don't process payments or issue policies. This policy covers the little data we do collect.

Last updated: August 17, 2026

1. What we collect

Contact form data — if you use our contact form, we collect the name, email and message you provide, solely to reply to you.

Technical data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited), and cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

Outbound click data — when you click a partner link, we log which page and partner, so we can see which guides are useful. We don't know whether you go on to purchase anything.

2. Why we use it

To respond to messages you send us, to keep the site secure, and to understand in aggregate which content and partners are useful to readers. We do not build individual user profiles.

3. Who we share it with

Our hosting and database provider (Supabase) processes data on our instructions. We never sell personal data, and we don't share contact-form submissions with insurance partners — if you want to reach a partner, use their own contact channel.

4. How long we keep it

Contact messages are retained until resolved and then archived; you can request deletion at any time. Outbound click logs are aggregate and not tied to an identity.

5. Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of any contact-form submission you sent us by emailing support@safaritravelinsurance.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Data is stored with row-level security so records are only readable by authorized staff.
